Today, at 11:00AM the U.S. Department of Justice announced that the President has rescinded the DACA program, with a six-months delay. What does this mean?

  1. If you have DACA status you will retain this status until it expires.
  2. If you have a DACA extension application pending, the Department of Homeland Security will continue processing your application.
  3. If your DACA status is set to expire between today, September 5, 2017, and March 5, 2018, you may apply for a DACA extension, as long as you file the extension on or before October 5, 2017.

Stay tuned for updates. Contact any of our offices if you have questions.
