Bio

Jane joined MGZ on January 1, 2018 after managing her own boutique employment based immigration firm in Philadelphia Pennsylvania for 30 years. There is strength in numbers so joining MGZ was a good fit as the immigration climate has become more enforcement oriented.

Jane did not have a burning desire to become an immigration attorney but instead wanted to be an elementary school teacher. She claims that there are parallels to be drawn between the two professions. She ended up in the law when she was told there were very few jobs in teaching. (She actually wanted her summers off)

She graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1983 earning a JD and immediately went to work for an immigration law firm. At that time there were no immigration courses offered in law school. When she started she claims she did not know the difference between a green card and a Master Card. She worked hard and found she had an interest in corporate work. In 1987 she founded her own firm and developed a thriving corporate practice. She has assisted publicly held companies as well as smaller firms develop and implement an immigration policy to fit their needs. She handles all employment based non-immigrant visas and immigrant visas. She also represents artists and entertainers. She offers clients proactive compliance programs which include I-9 reviews and preparations for site visits and audits. She works with foreign students as well as Universities. She is a frequent speaker on employment based immigration issues. She maintains an office in Allentown Pennsylvania as well as working at MGZ in Philadelphia.

She is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is admitted to the Third Circuit US Court of Appeals.

Jane is an avid hiker and bike rider and bleeds Eagles green during football. She loves to travel and especially enjoys multi-sport vacations.
